ES Magazine Hits the Naughty Spot for our Client

The week is not complete in London town without a copy of ESMagazine poking out of one’s laden bags…

The newly installed Senior Editor of the Evening Standard glossy – Rebecca Newman – has chosen some goodies stocked at our client, Coco de Mer for the day of romance. After personally sampling Lelo’s massage oil infused with 18carat gold flakes the bejewelled lotion made the slot… along with the sterling silver Butterfly nipples by London’s favourite jeweller (normally less naughty) Alex Monroe, Bethany Vernon’s Puff Ring jewellery and Paul Seville’s lace gauntlets.

Naughty but nicely risque – making the day for lovers just a little bit sassier in 2012…

Oooh Er Missus – Metro Features Age of Reason c/o Coco de Mer

Our loyal fans at London’s best daily, METRO, have featured the Age of Reason scarves designed by Ali Taylor Mapletoft

AGE OF REASON LAUNCHES MOST CHEEKY LINE FOR….COCO de MER

Coco de Mer is delighted to announce that the fabulous accessories label – Age of Reason – happens to speak its very own language. So much so, that the designer Ali Mapletoft plays with classic scarf motifs; she has created an exclusive collection for the erotic boutique which is cheeky, extremely playful, has a great sense of humour and just happens to be British Made and terribly ethical.

The Orgy Scarf: the secret motif is only revealed when the scarf is unfolded, making the piece everyday luxury accessory item even with the slightly saucy motifs. Dual purpose scarf: a gorgeous bedroom bondage scarf to wear, bond or blindfold / fashion accessory in one!

Bondage dolls: For AW11, a cheeky reinterpretation of classic silk squares with the ubiquitous chains motif, featuring a sexy hidden doll framed by handcuffs and charms, when the scarf is unfolded.

Sam Roddick

Flirting in the bedroom
Sam Roddick (pictured) is the
founder of erotic emporium Coco de
Mer. She suggests these tips for
flirting in the bedroom:
‘Flirting is a form of sexual
communication that must be
a dance of words and touch.
If you get the balance right, you
will be rewarded with an
intoxicating night of passion.
Flirting is massaging the soul
into a horizontal position.
‘There are a number of ways to suggest seduce and prime your lover into the right mood for loving you with exceptional enthusiasm. ’The art of flirting should start a long time before the bedroom door beckons. A cheeky or suggestive text message to your other half at the office will get them squirming with anticipation. To keep the pot boiling, try not to meet them at the front door. Instead, leave a list of instructions, such as what to wear - and allude to what they may expect – and that they should be ready for a surprise.  ’If you are starting the evening with a meal, a light game of footsies under the
dining table won’t go amiss. Also, keep the conversation away from family, friends and work, and try and recall passionate encounters from your early courtship days.  ’When you get to the bedroom, toy visual suggestion, your eyes dipping down, leading them to look at a part of your body: hand caressing your skin slowly. ’Then there is the sure bet of wearing the right thing: a provocative shirt, a not-much-to the imagination dress, topped off with a beautiful push-up bra peeking out. ’Undressing is of
utmost importance. Undoing a dress with buttons at the front and letting your clothing drop to the floor, while keeping your high heels on, will ensure a delirious seduction.’

Sizzling New Client – Featuring today in DailyCandy

New Client AKA Erotic Emporium

Featured today in DailyCandy

New Client @ HQ.  Couple of lines to sum up the DNA of said new client?  erotica, erotique, burlesque, passion, rude, kinky, things to make me go blush blush blush, toys for the boudoir, antiquarian books that make Playboy look like Thomas the Tank Engine, sassy passion and a huge dose of cheekyness.

No Sex Please We’re British is so very passe.  OK so I am aware we are now in second decade of the Noughties and that line came from the 1971 stage comedy, but I had the urge.  Not a naughty urge now we’re on the subject, but the chirpy oh so very British urge of blurting it.  How’s that for a cold winter’s soiree in January.  Working with Fuse Communications on Brit-tastic Sam Roddick’s genius boutique, Coco de Mer.

Coco de Mer is celebrating its 10th birthday this year.  How much have our reactions, views and inhibitions changed, altered, enhanced, been broadened and let go in the past decade?   You know, it is the fearless Queen of Erotica deluxe we have to thank.x

Check out the Monmouth Street or Draycott Avenue for the most interesting interiors, titillating accessories for the boudoir.  The music is great, the atmosphere cosy, the staff super down-to-earth and the collection of new and antique books is tasteful, priceless and of intellectual interest too. You have got to check out the salons too, for unique lessons in love. Learn to ‘Pleasure Him’ for the respectable fee of £69, naturally or if you are a beginner, the workshop entitled ‘Beginners Guide to Erotic Spanking’ hosted by Mistress Absolute has been highly recommended.  Tease him, please her, caress him, touch her.  And most importantly ENJOY!x

Leave your inhibitions behind and have your sexual repertoire inspired and masterfully enhanced.  Making love just got even better.

If you want to know where I am going to be from 7pm on Thursday 3rd Feb, check out upstairs at Coco de Mer, Draycott Avenue…Taking a journalist along too for support.  You’re never too old to learn new tricks, right?
