Elizabeth de Chambrun – new client!

Delighted to announce new client win at base JRPR!

Based in Paris and spending many months of the year in Jaipur in India, Elizabeth de Chambrun – website: Elizabeth de Chambrun - is living her passion, her dream, (I’m not just saying this PR style). Creative, with an eye for impeccable craftsmanship and utterly down-to-earth, properly real (is she really Parisian?).

Having the patience of a saint, the artistic know-how and devoted love for the beauty of the stones and all things Indian, Elizabeth has launched her collection of 22 carat gold with semi precious stones. Each piece is hand-made, taking up to six weeks.

Fortunate enough to be working with the greatest artisans in the world, in the stunning Rajasthan, using traditional jewellery-making techniques which are thousands of years old, sourcing each stone herself, this is a serious dream; firstly to have followed it and secondly, to have actually followed through. Remarkable story.

Read Elizabeth’s tale on the web.

Yours truly has written the copy on Elizabeth’s new website and the jewels are featured in “Van der Postings”,  Lucia van der Post’s weekly must-read column in the Financial Times, How To Spend It; check it out on the How To Spend It Website.

Kudos extraordinaire via Elizabeth’s great networking prowess - Cinnamon Club & Kitchen is launching the collection – the Indian restaurant headed by Vivek Singh and properly authentic; what perfect partners.

The launch event was fantastic and Carol Woolton, Jewellery Editor of Vogue and Maria Doulton, FT, joined us for aromatic canapes and spicy fresh cinnamon bellini’s.

Elizabeth and I have actually become great friends.
